The Board of Directors:

Cathy Clelland (Chair) Cathy is an Independent Board Director, Chair of the Board and a participant of the Organisational Health Committee. Cathy has a wide range of expertise, knowledge and experience ranging from Finance and Commercial issues, Business Planning, Company Secretary, Legal Contracts, Procurement and Commercial Negotiations. Cathy is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has previously worked as Finance and Commercial Director and Company Secretary at Leeds Bradford International Airport, she was previously Finance Director at YTTV Programme Making Division. Cathy is also a non-executive at Bradford and Airedale PCT and Chair of The Regional Food Group. Cathy has a busy family and social life, enjoys entertaining, walking and spending time with her new 2 new Grandsons.
Maurice Scott (Deputy Chair) In addition to being one of our Tenant Board Directors, Maurice is also Deputy Chair of the Board and a member of the Services & Investment Committee. He is also heavily involved in other aspects of the organisation; Editorial Panel, Area Panels and Chair of his local Tenants Association. Maurice is an affiliated member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
Ann Blackburn Ann is one of our four Councillors on the Board, representing the Green Party. Ann is an active member of the Organisational Health Committee and has extensive knowledge of local residents and housing related matters from being a resident for over 25 years in the Farnley & Wortley ward. Ann’s hobbies include antiques, reading, recycling and composting.
Ben Chastney Ben represents the Liberal Democrat Party (Weetwood Ward). Ben's knowledge of housing comes through work for local MP and now as a city councillor. Currently Chair of the local Council Area Committee and is a postgraduate student. In his spare time, Ben enjoys various sports, walking, cooking and reading.
Keith Collridge Prior to Keith joining the Board, as a Tenant Board Director, in April 2009 he was a member of the Inner North West Area Panel. Keith has joined the Organisational Health Sub Committee. Keith is Chair of his local Tenant Resident Association and member of the Kirkstall Festival Committee.
Paul Dolan Paul has joined WNWhl as an Independent Board Director. Paul has a degree in Housing Studies and has worked for national and local housing associations and for local authorities. Paul currently works for Sadeh Lok Housing Group as Group Operations Director. He has executive responsibility for housing management, asset management, customer services and development. Paul also leads Up & Working, a successful community employment agency. Paul has studied Leadership at Ashridge Business School and was awarded a Scholarship at leading European business school Cranfield University to study Leadership and Strategy.
Clive Fox Councillor Clive Fox was for several years a Director of the former Leeds North West Homes ALMO. After university he first ran his own business and then qualified as a Chartered Accountant, spending a number of years as a Company Secretary of a Leeds Tannery. He represents the Adel & Wharfedale ward and has been a City Councillor since 2000. he is Chairman of the Council's Development Plan Panel which deals with longer term strategic planning issues. He is married with two children.
Brenda Kirby Brenda has recently joined us as an Independent Board Director. Brenda has just taken early retirement after 25 years working for Local Authorities and a further 5 years at a Housing Association. Brenda currently sits on the Board of CAB in Stockton and a school in Middlesbrough. Brenda will also sit on the Organisation Health Committee within West North West homes Leeds.
Andy Liptrot Andy is a Tenant Board Director, the Chair of Services & Investment Committee and Chair of the Multi Storey Tenants / Residents Committee. In addition Andy is also a member of the Strategic KLOE Boards and Area Panels. Andy is an advocate of tenant involvement. Outside of WNWhL Andy enjoys all sports and is kept busy with his many grandchildren.
Alison Lowe Apart from being our representative from the Labour Party (Armley Ward), Alison is Chair of Organisational Health Committee and active participant of the Strategic KLOE Boards covering Equality & Diversity. Alison expertise and knowledge is from her role as CEO of Touchstone Leeds. Alison is also a Member of Wooden Spoon, a National Children’s Fundraising Charity.
Gillian Withers Gillian is a Tenant Board Director who is also a member of Organisational Health Committee, Area Panels and Strategic KLOE Boards. Gillian has experience of working within the community providing support and assistance to the older residents. Tai Chi, salsa dancing, gardening and DIY are Gillian’s hobbies and interests.
