As well as providing a day-to-day repairs service each year we carry out a number of major repairs to homes such as fitting new kitchens or new roofs.
Together these works make up our investment programme which when complete will ensure all our homes meet the Decent Homes standard.

Capital Improvement Works - Amount Spent to Date
The budget for Capital Improvement works for the financial year 2009/10 is £24.2 million. At the end of December 2009, £12.8 million had been spent on improvement works to bring properties up to the Decent Homes standard.

Blenheim Square Georgian Block WHI
Scheme progressing well due to complete end of March 2010.
5M’s Woodbridges External Enveloping
The second phase of external improvements work to the 5M properties on the Woodbridges has started and is due to complete in February. A further 24 bungalows are to be added to this scheme and work is planned to start in January with completion in April 2010.
Kirkstall Miscellaneous Properties Phase 4
Reroofing still to complete on properties next to the railway lane.
Queenswood Court and Heights External Work
Work is progressing well, scheme is due to complete end of December.
New Wortley Gas Mains and New Central Heating (Heatlease)The gas mains have been installed and work has started on installing central heating. Up to date, 95 properties have had heating installed.
Rossfields and Snowdens, Bramley Gas Mains and Central Heating (Heatlease)
Gas mains currently being installed. Heating installation planned to start in February 2010.
Multi Storey Replacement Communal Doors
Scheme not started yet.
Whole House Refurbishment to block 34-44 Clyde Walk
Re-housing of existing tenants taking place: improvement work planned to start in early in 2010.
