At the Annual Meeting of the Customer Involvement Network on 14 September West North West Homes presented its first TRA of the Year awards.
There were two categories: one for Associations representing less than 150 properties and one for Associations representing 150 properties or more.
The decision was based on a number of factors: 
- How the Group represent their area
- How the Group have increased involvement in their area
- How well does the Group communicate with its members
- How the Group raises funds
- What activities the Group undertakes
Judging was carried out by members of the Customer Involvement Network Executive who are not Tenant & Resident Association representatives.
The winners in category one were Billing View Community Group, a group representing 61 sheltered properties in Rawdon.
Rycroft High Rise Residents Association, representing 182 properties in Swinnow was successful in category two.
