Vacancies For Area Panel Members
Do you care about the area you live in and your community and want to make a difference? Then become an Area Panel Member.
West North West homes Leeds believes in involving their tenants and leaseholders in the decision making of the business. To assist in this we have four Area Panels which cover the following areas:
- Outer North West - (Adel and Wharfedale, Guiseley and Rawdon, Horsforth, Otley and Yeadon);
- Outer West - (Calverley and Farsley, Farnley / Wortley and Pudsey);
- Inner North West - (Headingley, Hyde Park and Woodhouse, Kirkstall and Weetwood); and
- Inner West (Armley / Bramley and Stanningley).
Each panel is made up of:
- 12 tenants or leaseholders,
- 1 tenant Board Director and
- 2 local ward members
Each Area Panel:
- manages a budget, approving expenditure relating to:
- priorities identified through the Community Partnership Agreements
- requests for work arising from tenant inspection and Estate Walkabouts
- is consulted on specifications for contracts such as grounds maintenance and repairs
- provide nominees for inclusion in tender evaluation exercises
