Did you know that you are able to check your housing rent balance online?
If you have not previously registered for either Council Tax or Housing on-line balances then you will need to click on ‘Register now’. You will need your 9 digit rent account number, which you can find on the top-right corner of your rent statements.
You will not need register again for the housing online system if you’ve already registered for the Council tax online service and vice versa, and you will use the same log in details. If you attempt to re-register you will receive an error message.
Housing Statement Details
The online statement contains details of your current rent balance, the last payment made and the date this was received. If more than one payment was received on the date of the final payment then the amount shown as the last payment made will be the total for this date. Any payments made after this date will not be included in the the current rent balance. Note that it can take up to 5 working days for a payment to reach your account.
