Money Worries

If you are struggling to pay your rent you should contact us immediately on 0800 915 1113 to receive housing and welfare benefit advice and, or, negotiate a realistic repayment plan. We may be able to refer you for independent debt advice through our relationship with the Citizens Advice Bureau.

If you ignore your debt problems you could end up losing your home, so please contact us for assistance or use the information provided in the Money Worries leaflet which you can access from the link on the right. The Citizens Advice Bureau offer young people advice on how to manage their money. You can find out how they have helped by clicking the link on the right.

Housing Benefit

Housing Benefit may help towards paying your rent. It does not matter if you are in work, unemployment or retired, or whether you receive other benefits. You can still make a claim and may get some help.

For further information please visit the Benefits Advice Page or call into any of our neighbourhood housing offices.

For further information and advice about money there are a number of information leaflets linked to the right of the page, or you can visit the Money advice service  website.

If you would be interested in attending a free six week course at Fairfield community centre in Bramley on money management then please contact Jon Hindley on 0113 294 0143. For further information please click on the Let's talk money link on the right hand side.
